I have a Sharepoint list with lets say 20 columns.
When connecting this list in my PowerApp, I add this source to the Gallery control (Items) but I can't seem to have access to all columns to set their value into a label for example.
I have only 10 columns available ... None of the NOT available columns are lookups or anything "stranger" than normal, they are just "single line text" columns ...
I looked into this: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Discussion/Missing-Columns/m-p/60802#M25121
But I don't us Forms so this does not apply.
Anyone has any idea?
Kind regards.
Hi @Dimitri-VDL ,
Did you mean that some text columns does not show in the dropdown list here after you select Edit fields?
If so, please try to set the Text property of the Label control in the first part of the gallery to:
ThisItem.ColumnName
And see if the column could show correctly.
Regards,
Mona
That is correct, only some of the columns from SharePoint are showing in the dropdown AND in the formula bar ThisItem.PropertyName. The missing items are simple text fields.
Any update on this?
Hi @Dimitri-VDL while reviewing similar posts from the community I found the following suggestion:
To verify the columns available and their names you can run a simple test.
Create a button and in the OnSelect put ClearCollect(colTest, Fournisseurs)
Then in the menu bar go View > Collections
You should be able to see what columns are available and their names. In the past I have had issue where the column had an internal name and I was looking for the external name which was differnt.
Here is the link to the thread - https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Expressions-and-Formulas/Missing-columns-in-search-formula-but-n...
If this does not solve your problem please let me know so I can research further.

Wow great suggestion, will use this more often, but unfortunately I still have the same amount of columns available
Thank you for the suggestion, if you have any question let me know!
Hi @Dimitri-VDL ,
Sorry for the late response. Do you still have this issue? What are the column types that are missing from PowerApps? Could you please try to add a new column and test? How many columns do you have exactly totally?
Regards,
Mona
Yes still having this, they are ALL either single or multiple line text. No complex things here, strange, I never had this before ...
I tried adding a new one but same thing, doesn't show up ...
I have this much that are "visible":
I am having the same issue. I can't find a lot of columns in the value section of the drop down.
I have been trying to add a drop down with a column from a SharePoint list. I can see the datasource and a lot of columns although there are spaces in the column names. Looks like PowerApps is having issues getting the columns which are actually drop downs in the SharePoint List. If this is not resolved, I guess we need to add a new list or a data source with just these values which are already drop downs in SharePoint.
