I've been trying to use Shoutouts for a while. Initially there appeard to be errors in the template that were resolved, so I started over. Once I created and customized my own version of the app, it appeard to be working but it wasn't. I figured that was something I broke, so I decided to start over again. Unfortunately, now, when I try to create my app from the template, I get an error and can't move forward. Any guidance would be appreciated. TIA!

What is your release version number? If you're running release 2.0.500 or older, an error message appears when you try to create an app from a template. You must upgrade to be able to use this feature.
Any Updates on this issue.
I'm having the same problem when trying to create a new version of the app using the phone layout for the app. I had an old database made already and it behaves erratically when I try to connect to it.

In your first post, you mentioned that "something I broke", can you describe in detail about this part? What did you break before?
Shoutouts has the data sources of Office365 Users and Outlook, did you make sure that both have connected correctly?
I've been trying to get this to work for months, and unfortunately haven't had an iteration work for me yet. I've followed the instructions etc. with all required connections. I don't actually think I broke anything at any point, but since I'm not a programmer, I just assumed I did and decided to start over in an effort to solve my own problem.
What I'm reporting here is that now I can't even create my own app from the template. When I click the button to do that, I get the error I've shared.
Since I'm not even able to create an app, I don't think the error has nothing to do with anything I've tried previously.
TIA for any additonal guidance you can offer on this specific error.
