Re: Show data in Gallery

Hi @AdhamFH ,

Have you solved your problem?

Do you want to display the Gallery Items only when you type some search text within the Search box?

I have made a test on my side, please consider take a try with the following workaround:

Solution1:

Set the Items property of the Gallery to following:

If(
   IsBlank(TextSearchBox.Text),
   Filter(DataSource, false),
   Search(DataSource, TextSearchBox.Text, "Column1", "Column2", ...)
)

Solution2:

Set the Visible property of the Gallery to following:

If(
   IsBlank(TextSearchBox.Text),
   false,
   true
)

Set the Items property of the Gallery to following:

Search(DataSource, TextSearchBox.Text, "Column1", "Column2", ...)

Please consider take a try with above solution, check if the issue is solved.

Re: Show data in Gallery

Hey @AdhamFH ,

Not sure if this would work, but you could try changing the Visible property of the gallery to something like:

If(

IsBlank(SearchBoxField),

false,

true)

where SearchBoxField is the name of the text input of your search box. Granted this only hides the gallery until you start typing in the search field. There might be a way to make it so that the gallery stays hidden until a result matches, but I'm not sure how to go about that. I'll play around and see what I come up with.

Hope this helps!
