I am working on an internal Podcast application for my organization. I currently have created a Patch functionality that updates a SharePoint List with EmailAddress, User Name, Episode Click, and Time. To aid people using the app to remember what episode was listened to I wanted to change the visibility of icon to show based on this sharepoint list.
Currently this is my code:
!IsBlank(LookUp('PowerApps Usage', Episode = ThisItem.Name And EmailAddress = varUserEmail))
What is hapening that each item in the document library is shows all false with this code. Based on my understanding and the data in my table it should only be showing true for the first episode.
ThisItem.Name is the name of the episode which matches the Episode column
Once I add the AND to the equation it forces them all to the same value.

It sounds like you've got some issue with your datasource in PowerApps if it is not reflecting the proper column.
If your column is called EmailAddress, then that is what you should see in PowerApps (especially on a simple column like text). I'd first do a refresh on your PowerApps Usage datasource and then make sure you are seeing the proper name for your column.
The formula you are working with - !IsBlank(LookUp('PowerApps Usage', Episode = ThisItem.Name && EmailAddress = varUserEmail, ID)) should work perfectly for what you are trying to do. So if not, then we can explore after your refresh the datasource.
Also, a little troubleshooting tip - if you want to just see something from your datasource, put a label on the screen and set the Text property to the following:
"Episode: " & First('PowerApps Usage').Episode & " EmailAddress: " & First('PowerApps Usage').EmailAddress
That should show you the values from the first record in your list.
Used the code EmailAddress: " & First('PowerApps Usage').EmailAddress
and it is able to pull the first record. When i patch the data to the table I force the email to be lower cased with command Lower()
I also did it with the episode and it was able to find the data.
I’m stumped on this.
It doesn’t matter the order if i put EmailAddress only its able to determine if an EmailAddress is available- This one doesn’t seem to try and match the emails. I have also tried removing VarUserEmail and instead use Lower(User().Email) and the same thing occurs.
If i put it for the episodes only for the code. Then the icon is visible for the episodes that has been watched by everyone.

Seems odd...can you share some screenshots and formulas that you are using. Perhaps some sense can be made from that.
You will see the check mark I am trying to get to show under "Listened". When the episode is clicked a 'PowerUsage' is updated with the episode name and email address of the person who clicked it.
Currently under episode one I have only made that file I have clicked for testing purpose. The check mark is showing for all the episodes.
Select Episodes is a document library that is housing our episodes.
Goal is to have this sharepoint list and if the user clicked and episode PowerApps show the check mark letting the user know they have listened to the episode.
Can you try to update the expression to:
!IsBlank(LookUp('PowerApps Usage', Episode = ThisItem.Name && EmailAddress = Lower(User.Email)).Episode)

This made the statement false and the icon is not showing for any item in the gallery. Only Episode 1 Should show up based on my user information.
Can you confirm if this part EmailAddress = Lower(User().Email) of the expression is appropriate? Are all the entries in EmailAddress column lowercase? If not, can you try to change it to:
!IsBlank(LookUp('PowerApps Usage', Episode = ThisItem.Name && EmailAddress = User().Email).Episode)

Yes everything in the SharePoint List is lower case. When I patch the data in from PowerApps I force it to lowercase the results. But just in case I tried it without Lower() as you suggested and its not working.
So, what is the formula you are using to put the item in PowerApps Usage list?
Also, let's try to troubleshoot a little on this.
Put a Label on your Screen and set the Text Property to:
Lookup('PowerApps Usage', Episode="put in a known name that matches a known email" && EmailAddress = "a known to match email", ID)
See if that returns the number for the record in your list.
Also, did you happen to rename your Title column in your list to Episode?
If so, the try the suggested formulas and substitute "Title" for "Episode"

This Week: All About Subscriptions & Notifications Subscribing to a CategorySubscribing to a TopicSubscribing to a LabelBookmarksManaging & Viewing your Subscriptions & BookmarksA Note on Following Friends on Mobile Subscriptions ensure that you receive automated messages about the most recent posts and replies. There are multiple ways you can subscribe to content and boards in the community! (Please note: if you have created an AAD (Azure Active Directory) account you won't be able to receive e-mail notifications.) Subscribing to a Category When you're looking at the entire category, select from the Options drop down and choose Subscribe. You can then choose to Subscribe to all of the boards or select only the boards you want to receive notifications. When you're satisfied with your choices, click Save. Subscribing to a Topic You can also subscribe to a single topic by clicking Subscribe from the Options drop down menu, while you are viewing the topic or in the General board overview, respectively. Subscribing to a Label You can find the labels at the bottom left of a post.From a particular post with a label, click on the label to filter by that label. This opens a window containing a list of posts with the label you have selected. Click Subscribe. Note: You can only subscribe to a label at the board level. If you subscribe to a label named 'Copilot' at board #1, it will not automatically subscribe you to an identically named label at board #2. You will have to subscribe twice, once at each board. Bookmarks Just like you can subscribe to topics and categories, you can also bookmark topics and boards from the same menus! Simply go to the Topic Options drop down menu to bookmark a topic or the Options drop down to bookmark a board. The difference between subscribing and bookmarking is that subscriptions provide you with notifications, whereas bookmarks provide you a static way of easily accessing your favorite boards from the My subscriptions area. Managing & Viewing Your Subscriptions & Bookmarks To manage your subscriptions, click on your avatar and select My subscriptions from the drop-down menu. From the Subscriptions & Notifications tab, you can manage your subscriptions, including your e-mail subscription options, your bookmarks, your notification settings, and your email notification format. You can see a list of all your subscriptions and bookmarks and choose which ones to delete, either individually or in bulk, by checking multiple boxes. A Note on Following Friends on Mobile Adding someone as a friend or selecting Follow in the mobile view does not allow you to subscribe to their activity feed. You will merely be able to see your friends’ biography, other personal information, or online status, and send messages more quickly by choosing who to send the message to from a list, as opposed to having to search by username.
