Sign in issues on Android

Hi everyone,

I too am having sign in issues, only on my Android phone, I can sign in fine on the Windows 10 app and on web. My Android phone is my primary mobile device.

I have just come back to PowerApps after a few months break and am really gutted it's not working as I am a major fan of the platform.

OS: Android 5.0.1
PowerApps version: 2.0.671 (latest available)
Android System Webview version: 37 (latest available)
O365 licence: Business Essentials

So far I've tried
- cleaning out the PowerApps cache
- cleaning out the Android System Webview cache
- uninstalling and reinstalling PowerApps
- removing updates to Android System Webview then readding them
- removing Microsoft Authenticator app incase it was interfering with sign in for any reason

Anyone got any ideas what's going wrong?

I still can't log in to Powerapps on LG Tablets. 😞

Okay, so I did a fresh install of PowerApps and on the version of PowerApps that you originally download isn't the newest "update."


What you need to do is after installing PowerApps, go back into the Play Store and it will allow you to Update it.


This fixed the issue.

@Anonymous if the instructions on this thread don't help, please kindly start a new thread with more specific information about your device such as the make/model, Android OS version, the PowerApps app version and the Android System WebView version.

I had this issue, but turning off pwer savings solved it for me...

When using my work account, I am getting a sign in error, on multiple Andriod devices, with varying Andriod versions.

"Sign in with your work or school account"


I got through without this error on browser an iphone and ipad.

just putting this out there: this is still an issue after 1.5 year of this thread being created. iOS works swimmingly; can't get in on android at all.

This is very much still an issue: Android phones inexplicably refusing to sign in to PowerApps specifically. Is there any known solution to this? Is Microsoft even aware?

Hey, you should try downloading the microsoft authenticator app and setting it up with the same account.

This solved the problem for me, i have no issues on android anymore using power apps
