Simply populate a drop down with an external sharepoint list, but its a people picker column

Hi I have a Powerapp which I want a drop down which allows the user to choose an approver. This will then let the flow I'm building read their selection and send a parrellel approval out to them.

All I need is the function to type into the drop down field which brings in each item from the custom list. I've tried loads of functions but they all require a second parameter which it doesn't need.

btw I'm not using a form or card.

Re: Simply populate a drop down with an external sharepoint list, but its a people picker column

If you use a Sharepoint list named "Approvers" and the columns are "ApproverName" and "ApproverEmail" try using Approvers.ApproverName in the dropdown named "DropSample"

In another Text field use LookUp(Approvers;ApproverName=DropSample.Selected.Value;ApproverEmail) this gets the email of the selected approver in "DropSample"

Is this what you need?

Re: Simply populate a drop down with an external sharepoint list, but its a people picker column

Just to be picky and annoying:

I had to add apostrophes to the data connection for the 'Approvers'.ApproverName.

EDIT Fixed issue with Lookup.

Thanks Sanchez. I'm getting there with PowerApps but it's so alien to anything I've ever used...!
