Single Submit in PowerApps is triggering the Flow 4 times.

When I hit submit in the power app, it triggers the connected flow 4 times.  If I run a test of the flow in Power Automate, it only triggers once.  I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the flow.  I have also exported the flow, deleted the old flow, and reimporting it as new, and I still have the same issue with the new flow, based on a previous suggestion in another thread.  Any other suggestions?  I've noticed that if I submit the request and IMMEDIATELY close the power app window, only one is triggered.  But if it stays open a little bit longer, it triggers 4 times.  Not sure where to go from here.

This is interesting, What happens if you set it to a variable? Then it will have to wait for the Flow to finish and hopefully won't send more triggers.

 

Something like this:

Thank you for your suggestion.  It still triggered 4, and now I got this error at the end: PowerAppsButtonCreateActivity_1.Run failed: { "error": { "code": 502, "source": "unitedstates-002.azure-apim.net", "clientRequestId": "b6796ea0-da97-49d4-a930-a90f83a70276", "message": "BadGateway", "innerError": { "error": { "code": "NoResponse", "message": "The server did not received a response from an upstream server. Request tracking id '08585989933588948303196952031CU92'." } } } }

 

I have never gotten any errors before.  As far as the flow is concerned, it was successful, as you see on the attachment.

Looks more like there is logic in the PowerApp that is causing this to trigger multiple times then anything to with Power Automate. That said it looks pretty simple so a few questions:

  1. Are the components in your first image the only ones that you have in the PowerApp?
  2. **Make sure that the OnSelect() / OnChange() properties for each of the input fields are set to false / not also set to run your Flow.
    1. This has a tendency to happen because of how PowerApp-triggered flows get added to your App
  3. Please provide a screenshot of the parameters provided to each of the four flow runs that seem to be duplicates.

I would actually raise a support ticket for this. You can do this by clicking the 'Create support ticket' button on the following page.

In reference to the other post beneath, there is obviously a bug somewhere in the platform if users are needing to recreate Flows in order to prevent them from triggering four times. By reporting this in a more official way, hopefully Microsoft will fix this so that it doesn't happen again, for you and others.

Thank you for responding!  In response to

1.  I do have two fields not showing.  One contains the Param("AccountID"), the 2nd is a field that calculates based on the response to the 3 dropdowns.  

2.  I checked all the input fields OnChange and OnSelect and all are set to false.

3.  All 4 runs in flow have the same output coming out of the PowerApps trigger as the image attached.
