Slow filtering in the gallery

Hello,

I have an app that is connected to Salesforce as the data source, on the first screen I filter and sort the accounts, I was wondering if there is any way to limit the filtering time or sorting?

Hi @Aysan ,

Sorry for the typo, it should be:

Sort(Filter(Search(Accounts, TextInputSearch.Text, "Name"),Value(NetSuite_Id_c>0)),Name,Accending)

Hi @Aysan ,

First of all, note that Filter with Value function is Non-delegable. I know you would like to search for the result records then do Filter to work around this. However, Search and Sort before Filter it caused the bad performance since you will search the whole data table by search strings.

To improve the performance, you could try to sort on the top-level:

Sort(Filter(Search(Accounts, TextInputSearch.Text, "Name"),Value(NetSuite_Id_c)>0),Name,Accending)

The best practice would be to filter first to narrow down the records for searching and sorting, but this is not suitable for your situation.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for your reply, Is there a way to just show handpick oy results before search? when I start typing in the textbox the result shows up really quick, but when the first page loads is where it is slow.

Also this happened
