Hi All, I'm trying to work out if this is global or local issue.
Since the PowerApps for Teams update this week (w/c 10 Oct 2022) the Solutions export/import has broken, causing a significant impact on performance to my developer team (and me).
The obvious problems are:
- Fresh imports to new environments are taking 10+ times longer than before - to put this into context they now take longer than it takes for a cold kettle to boil to make a cup of tea (and these are not big apps with loads of tables).
- Update imports are taking even longer... I've both made and finished my tea.
- Even when saying its been updated the app is still the previous one, even over 12 hours later (I've checked this morning hoping it would flush through over night but it didn't).
- For a short time I was able to delete the app and run a fresh import. However, the import wouldn't run unless all of the Solution items were removed, including the Dataverse tables meaning a loss of data. Not an issue in UAT/Test but a non-starter for live.
- I get missing dependency errors even though they are clearly listed in the Solutions import package.
- Imports are dumping all the package items into the default Teams solution - not the Solution package, even if it already existed.
- I also occasionally get a message that the package has already been installed and then see a list of up to 3 copies of the same app/package - even though I've deleted them/it.
I've tried managed and unmanaged Solutions and exporting/importing at the PowerApps for Teams level and at the web-level (Open in PowerApps) and the problems are the same.
Any clue what's going on and more importantly how to fix this?
Thanks in advance.
