Sorting UK formatted dates

Hi

I have a formula so :-

SortByColumns(Distinct(Filter(Submissions,Approval_x0020_Status.Value="Approved"),Meeting_x0020_Date),"Result",SortOrder.Descending)

Where Meeting_Date is a Text Field holding a UK formatted date.

The Sort is only sorting on the UK day field, not the rest of the date.

Regards

Nigel

Hi @NigelP,

Did you mean that it only sort with date not time? If so, it seems that I cannot reproduce your issue.

Does the date time also show in UK timezone in your app?

Hi Mona

The date is formatted in UK format dd/mm/yyyy .

The field is a text field.

PowerApps is only sorting on the dd followed by the mm followed by the yyyy.

So that I get 31/10/201

31/07/2017

31/05/2017

31/03/2017

31/01/2017

followed by 30/11/2017

30/09/2017

30/06/2017

30/04/2017

 followed by

29/11/2017

29/04/2017

29/01/2017

 etc

Regards

Nigel

etc to 30/06/2017
