Source data list not updating

welp, due to self-quarantine I am working from home with kids...one of which snuck in a few keystrokes while I refilled coffee.  I'm working on an app, and have discovered that 1 of my combobox selections will no longer updates or records a new value when entered - whether within edit mode or recording a new entry (the data source is a Sharepoint list).  All the other comboboxes within the app work just fine and I tried to reconcile all the working combo boxes functions to my now broken combo box to no avail....does anyone know what may have happened or how to go about identifying the root cause, or even better fixing it?  Does this make sense?

It might be helpful to just cut to the chase and remove that field from your form and then add it back.

Ah the wandering hands of kids...I've lost a few things that way too 😉

I'm assuming you're using an EditForm.  So, check your Update property on the datacard that you have the control in.  That would be the first place to check.

I hope that leads to a solution.

I thought update property was the issue at first, but it's the same format as the others which work...see below...
