Status when downloading

When PowerApps is downloading data from Sharepoint little black dots (or "ants" as Shane calls them) scroll along the top of the screen.

Is there any way to set downloading data as a variable so that a "please wait, downloading from SharePoint." pop-up can be triggered?

Hi @Fellmeth

There is no way to track the downloading as per the current capabilities. If you think this should be added as a functionality, please raise an idea or upvote if exists already. https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Ideas/ct-p/PA_Comm_Ideas

Although, you can track the process of OnSelect property of any actionable control. You can update the expression by setting variable before and after all the operations.

Eg: Set(ShowPop,true); /* actions*/;Set(ShowPop,false);

Hope this Helps!
