Strange error when linking a Sharepoint list to a gallery

When assigning a recently created Office365 Sharepoint list to a canvas app gallery, I get the following error:

The requested operation is invalid.

Server Response: The $top expression "Infinity" is not valid.

clientRequestId: 7aba1107-e570-44e4-94e0-62598bfae9962

serviceRequestId: 7aba1107-e570-44e4-94e0-62598bfae9962

This started yesterday.  Before this I developed 18 apps using lists from the same Office365 Sharepoint server with no problems.

Any idea of what's happening?

Re: Strange error when linking a Sharepoint list to a gallery

Hi @jwelborne1 ,

This is just a workaround but can you please Collect your DataSouce on the AppStart of the App.

AppStart:

ClearCollect(CollectedDataSource,DataSource)

On the Gallery Items() Property:

CollectedDataSource

Other workaround is to add a dummy record as a DataSource.

Thanks,

Re: Strange error when linking a Sharepoint list to a gallery

Karl,

Thanks for te reply but I am a newby at PowerApps abd did not understnd your answer.

The DataSource I am working with  is a list named OtherEmer stored in an Office365 Sharepoint server I access by clicking on the hambuuger next to PowerApps.

Can you give me example entries based on that information?

Jim
