Stuck with form issues

Hi everyone,

Pretty new to Powerapps (about two weeks) and love working in it but am having some trouble with my first app and form submission.

In my mind its a pretty basic app that is setup as follows

Screen1 - Some basic text with a "Sign In" button that triggers navigation to Screen2

Screen2 - A single form pulling from a sharepoint list as datasource with the following fields:

-Searchable textinput field for userid which will populate users name

-Dropdown menu with a static list of options to choose

-Multi line text field for brief notes/description

- Yes/No Toggle control

Followed with a "Submit" button at the bottom of the screen that will submit to datasource/sp list and then navigate back to screen1

I have a flow setup that triggers an email on submission.  This is working fine but the issue I'm having is that upon submission and navigating back to screen1 and clicking the "Sign In" button again that the fields on the form are not cleared out.  I've messed around with various reset options but I'm just not finding the right combination.  The biggest offender of not clearing out is the dropdown menu.

Bonus if I can figure how to add a button to clear/reset all the form fields (acting as a refresh of the screen basically)

Thanks in Advance!

Thanks for the suggestion.  I've since got it to work flawlessly.  Basically there was a big delay from when I published the app on my pc to when the changes I made were available on the tablet. So it appears it was a combination of my impatience between revisions to test and setting the "searchable" option for the dropdown in the form.

When Navigating are you selecting NewForm()?  If so and it as after the navigation it may not be working properly.  Put it in the command line befor the navigation function

Yes I have the NewForm set before the navigation.

here is the "OnSelect" property of my "Submit" button

SubmitForm(Form1); Navigate(Screen1,ScreenTransition.Fade)

It seems that the only thing not resetting is the dropdown menu.  This is really odd

Ok, I've made some progress here.  I finally have the form completely resetting by making the drop down "searchable" in the properties.  However, by doing this i've now lost the ability to scroll through the list of options in that dropdown when launching on the tablet (android) but its still there when I preview app in web browser on my pc.

appreciate any insight.

Easy solution. Do not use forms! Make your own "form".
