Submit form but skip a field

Hi

I am building a PowerApp for event information registration. Basically an ipad app where atendees can register for email signup. The form is linked to Leads in D365.

I need the lead field "Topic" to be autopopulated with the name of the event, so it is easy to see all leads that got collected on that specific event.

I tried to add the field, fill it in and hide it and then used "reset" instead of "resetform" and chose all field except Topic but that did not work.

The form works fine with   SubmitForm(Form1) & ResetForm(Form1) but then topic is reset also.

Any suggestions are higly welcomed 😄

@GulliReynir

Auto-population of a field is acheived using the Default property.  When the form is Reset or the form mode is switched to New the default value appears on the form.  Try putting your event name in the Default property and see what happens.
