Sum

Hello to all,

I have a table in Excel, attached to PowerAppsебалайка.JPG, can I somehow sort or search the table, followed by summing the values in a certain column? For example, if I enter the name of the company in the search field, then the table displays data for this company, and Amounts were displayed in the fields under it in the total cells?

Best wishes

Re: Sum

Hey @AleksCaine

In case you want to fetch the respectives values, you can use the expression as:

UAH Label: Text -> Sum(Search(DataSourceName, TextInput1.Text,"Company"), Value(UAH))
USD Label: Text -> Sum(Search(DataSourceName, TextInput1.Text,"Company"), Value(USD))
EUR Label: Text -> Sum(Search(DataSourceName, TextInput1.Text,"Company"), Value(EUR))

Here, you need to replace DataSourceName with the name used in datatable.

Hope this Helps!

Re: Sum

Hi @AleksCaine

Can you share more details about the datasource and the data that you are trying to get into the total column?

If you want to implement the Search functionality, you can create a text box(TextInput1) and update the Items property as:

Search(DataSourceName, TextInput1.Text, "Column1","Column2")

In case you want to get sum based on search items:

Sum(Search(DataSourceName, TextInput1.Text, "Column1"),"ColumnName")

If this differs, please share more details so that we might be able to help you better.

Hope this Helps!
