Syntax struggle...

Hello world,

I am attempting to make the very first text-only card in this screenshot (DataCard1) visible ONLY once any selection in DataCardValue1 (drop down list) is made. Seems very easy, but I am getting stuck on the correct syntax/expression to use in Rules. Please help!

Thank you much in advance,

M

First...don't use Rules!  They have been deprecated and risk going away on you in the future.

If you want DataCard1 to be visible once a value is chosen in your DataCardValue1, then set the Visible property of your DataCard1 to:

!IsBlank(DataCardValue1.Selected.Value)

This assumes that you have a Value property of the ComboBox seen in your picture.

I hope this is helpful for you.

That worked perfectly! Thank you for the reminder about Rules as well... I will identify where I am using them currently and make sure to edit the Visible property instead. Thank you again for the super quick response!! Life saver.
