Syntax

Folks

            I have a form that originates on Sharepoint. It is the "new" item form. I have a text box so the default is Text(User().Fullname) . This self populates with the user name of the person filling in the information....Great. But when I select a record from the Sharepoint site for editing, it now changes that text box to the new user. Not Great. is there a way to say "if its filled in leave it, if its blank fill in with Current user"

Re: Syntax

Hi @Shannon_Marceau

I think you can fix this by using the following formula instead.

If(IsBlank(Parent.Default),
   Text(User().Fullname),
   Parent.Default
)
