TASKS - Should I use Planner or Tasks table when building a model driven app
I want to create and track tasks in a model driven app. I see there is a native Task entity table in the dataverse, but am wondering which is better to use, MS planner or the Model Driven App task entity?
One scenario I have to help make the decision, is imagine I have a choice column (Customer status in accounts) that if the status is "Contact Customer" the system triggers the creation of a new task to contact the customer.
I know if I wanted to do it in MS Planner, I can create a flow that when the choice column changes to 'Contact Customer' it creates a new task in Planner.
But can I do something similar if I wanted to use the Task entity in the Model Driven App?
I would also like a dashboard in the model driven app to show all the Tasks (open, in progress, closed etc.).
