Table from SQL source showing data for a selected line of another SQL source table

Hello,

I'm not sure if my topic is clear but I will try to explain my idea here:

I have two SQL tables connected to PowerApps. One contains daily data for items (one unique line per item). The other one keeps comment history for every item - can be multiple comments.

What I would like to achieve is. On selection of a row from the first table I would like to see all comments regarding this item in the other table. The part in common for the tables is 'key'. How can I achieve that?

I will be grateful for any help.

Thank you!

Re: Table from SQL source showing data for a selected line of another SQL source table

Hello @Konrad91

You can try this,

1. Insert a table and name it "tblFirst"

2. Set its item property to "Your SQL Item Table"

3. Choose fields to be displayed for "tblFirst"

4. Insert another table and name it "tblSecond"

5. Set its item property to Filter("Your SQL CommentsHistory Table",CommonColumn = tblFirst.Selected.CommonColumn )

6. Choose fields to be displayed for "tblSecond"

Hope this will complete your reqiurement.
