Tabs and ViewForm

Hi

Can I have Tabs on a Form which is in View Mode (ie can I click on something and expect the OnSelect Event to fire and do something) ?

In my configuration, I have a series of Tabs each one makes the contents of the other tabs invisible and make the contents of the tab being clicked visible.

Regards

Nigel

@NigelP

As long as your tabs controls are in Edit mode, then they will fire their actions.

Hi @NigelP ,

Here is a video that is about how to creating tabs you could refer to:

Below blogs are also about tabs in PowerApps:

Re: Tabs and ViewForm

Hi @v-monli-msft

I am very familiar with Tabs and how they work.  They work perfectly well when the Form is in Edit Mode.  The question I am asking is are they supposed to work when the form is in View Mode.  ie Can I click on a Tab and expect the OnSelect event to fire.

Re: Tabs and ViewForm

Ah Ah @RandyHayes

Thats the problem, because the tab controls were inheriting from the Form, they were in View Mode.

I Switched into Edit mode and suddenly, they all worked.

Thanks Randy !
