The parameter to this function must be a control with OnSelect property on the same screen

My OnSuccess event of a form is suddenly having an error when using the Select() function to trigger a button within a gallery.  The button called simply resets input controls within the gallery.

This was working fine prior to June 19th!  I submitted a ticket and spoke to two Microsoft technicians who were felt the need to promote the issue to the development team.  This was just prior to the SubmitForm error, which was just fixed (https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Discussion/SubmitForm-function-can-only-work-on-a-form-W...).

The Select() error on a control inside a gallery has not been fixed yet.  Please advise.

Re: The parameter to this function must be a control with OnSelect property on the same screen

Hi @netmarie ,

I'm sorry you have to go through this.

I've dealt with some similar issues about submitform function's not working recently.

Most of them occur often when the new version is released.

I agree that this issue should be reported to the development team.

I've reported it and if there's any update, I will get back to you.

Re: The parameter to this function must be a control with OnSelect property on the same screen

Thank you for investigating.  I also experienced the SubmitForm issue and confirmed Saturday that it was resolved only to bump heads with another new issue.  The save is successful but OnSuccess event does not appear to perform all included steps.  It is supposed to Refresh the data source (from SQL) and ClearCollect to update the collection, but that is not happening.  It was working properly before the issue with SubmitForm.
