Has anyone started to see PowerApps Forms for SharePoint? At Ignite it was announce that it would start early October to first release tenants but now it is November and I haven't heard of any first release tenants getting the update.
Solved! Go to Solution.
We ran into issues and have been fixing them to get this released as soon as we can. Hopefully over the next month we will be able to release it.
Yes, it should have rolled out to most first release tenants. Here is the documentation: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/customize-list-form
You should also see the blog post announcing the changes go out as well in some time.

Hi Ankit (sarafankit),
Could you point me to some additional information on the difference between PowerApps Forms for SharePoint and developing a mobile app (tablet/browser layout) and embedding that into a SharePoint site?
Because from what I have seen the latter is already possible.
Warm Regards
Daniela
As the feature has not been released, we don't have any documentation or blogs about it that I can point you to.
Yes, you are right, building a standalone app and embedding it into a SharePoint site already works and may suffice for many cases. The primary differences I can list with the Forms are:
So, if you don't want to replace the default experience for a list, embedding mobile app on a modern page will get you almost similar experience.
Here is a link to an Ignite Session that will provide you with more information.

I don't see an option for a Power App form under "list settings > form settings" and the Power Apps control in the list views only shows the "Create an app" option. Has this functionality been released? Do we need to enable something on our side?
It doesn't look like the feature has been released yet. When it does get released it will go to tentants in the first release program.
It has arrived in my first release test tenant. Excited to start playing around it.
