ThisItem does not connect with data

Hi 🙂

I'm having trouble getting around this problem, I was hoping you could help me.

I am trying to set ThisItem as "Aprovação", as I defined in my data source (excel table saved in One Drive):

Capturar1.PNG

It already works in other icons, but when I added a New Gallery, none of the above fields seems available. I get a message saying the name isn't valid:

Capturar2.png

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks in advance,

Sílvia

The Items property of the gallery is where the myDatasourceName should go.

Insert a gallery and on th items of the gallery put: YourDatasouceName.

Then inside the gallery choose any of the textboxes and put: ThisItem.Aprovação

Can you please try to REFRESH the datasource.  Go to the left-side menu, click on the datasource, then REFRESH.  If this does not work close & re-open the app.

Are you able to share a screenshot?  What control type are you putting this code in? (e.g. label, text input, etc.)

Thank you for you answer, but I have already tried refreshing and closing/reopening the app 😞

I am using a label.

I'm sorry I can't explain the situation very well, I only started working on PowerApps a week ago.

Thank you so much!
