Solved: Thumbnail Gallery

I have the following Attachments DataCard for collection of photos when employees enter records. I was attempting to display Thumbnails of the attachments in a gallery directly below the Attachments. I have reviewed a few internet suggestions but have been unable to get the thumbnail(s) to diplay. I have tried the following in the Items of the Gallery...

LookUp(
'Safety Good Catch Items',
ID=Gallery2).Attachments
)

Any assistance would be appreciated

Then all you need in the Items of galAttachments was what I originally posted

LookUp(
   'Safety Good Catch Items',
   ID = GallerySummary.Selected.ID
).Attachments

You simply need to refer to the ID of the record you have selected.

Put this as the Image property of the control (with your domain)

So used the following in "red" but did not get an results.

I did place this in Image property of the galAttachments (Gallery) - Image

Hi @WarrenBelz Thanks again for the response. Not sure what I have set, but I am also unable to delete attachments or select while in the Edit mode of the Form.

Hi @RJF61 ,
Looking at your screenshot now, you seem to be missing the leading (and possibly trailing) quotes ". I can assure you it works in a browser (it does not on the mobile app due to URLs needing to be resolved anonymously).

Your current issue is rather weird - you screen shot shows what appears to be a normal Edit Mode for an attachment control. What happens when you select the X and save the Form ?

Also, I am noticing that various fields cannot be edited while the form is in edit mode.

You post that I am also unable to delete attachments or select while in the Edit mode of the Form - I was referring to the X on the attachment control item to delete it

Also what other fields can you not edit (or do they simply not save changes?)

Hi @WarrenBelz Thanks for your responses.

OK...I re-created the form (I assume there was some type of corruption). At this point I can Edit as expected. So back to my original need...

1. I was trying to use the information from your Blog from 25/02/2021 "Gallery with Images"

a. I have my Attachments DataCardValue28

b. I then inserted a horizontal gallery below the DataCard (not within the DataCard)

c. I was then trying to use "LookUp('Safety Good Catch Items',ID = Gallery1.Selected.ID).Attachments"

d. That is where I receive an error

Hi @RJF61 ,

Assuming Gallery1 contains a list with attachments, putting this on the Items of a gallery certainly should not error

LookUp(
   'Safety Good Catch Items',
   ID = Gallery1.Selected.ID
).Attachments

One issue here - the Gallery Items must contain the ID in its contents. What are the Items of the Gallery? You will get the second error on the image if the Items are also erroring.
