Timezone in powerapps

Hi ,

I am capturing start and end time in app which is set to my system time ,  once the data is submitted to the database , the time shows in UTC format . is there any way to capture the data in DB similar to my system time. ?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Timezone in powerapps

This is what I know.

If you are using the SQL Azure Service, all dates and times are stored in UTC format. The good thing is that PowerApps converts the date/time to your current locale, so for users there is no difference.

I use Azure SQL, so if I need to see the time in a different locale, I use a query in SQL to convert to whichever timezone I need.

Remember, Powerapps applications read the UTC time stored in the SQL and they convert it to your current locale.

Hope this helps!!
