To create a multiple fields in the lookup dropdown

Hi All,

       I am having Load Id in the dropdown field which is connected with the Dynamics 365 of Load Table entity. I just try to bring same Lookup in Dynamics 365

What I want to show in the dropdown list to present choices in the form of "[LoadID:#] - [City] - [State]"

How can I accomplish this?

Hi @Aswath

Here is the sample Patch command with Lookup which drives from Combobox. In this example, the Account has lookup for Contact

1. Combobox - Contacts table (Display combination of 3 items)

2. Patch Command

Working Sample

With(
    {
        _itemContact: LookUp(
            Contacts,
            ContactNumber = First(
                Split(
                    ComboBox1.Selected.Result,
                    "-"
                ).Result
            ).Result
        )
    },
    Patch(
        Accounts,
        If(
            EditForm1.Mode = FormMode.New,
            Defaults(Accounts),
            LookUp(
                Accounts,
                Account = BrowseGallery1.Selected.Account
            )
        ),
        {
            'Account Name': DataCardValue4.Text,
            'Primary Contact': _itemContact
        }
    )
)

Hi @Aswath

If you need just ID, we can use the OnSelect property of the combobox

Set(
    SelectedConatctID,
    First(
        Split(
            ComboBox1.Selected.Result,
            "-"
        ).Result
    ).Result
);
