Trouble assigning values to collection

I'm currently working on my first Power App, and am stuck with a strange issue. I have a collection that I got from an API call.

I want to work the the first property called ConfirmedInStock, which can be seen in the image below.

My problem however is that I cannot assign it a new value. The Icon/button I'm using simply does nothing. What do I do wrong here?

You cannot directly assign values to anything in PowerApps.  You either use a formula to do so or you make reference to some other control, collection, or variable.

Assuming that the Items property of the Gallery you have is based on that collection you are showing, then you can use the following formula in your OnSelect action:

Patch(ScannedItems, ThisItem, {ConfirmedInStock: true})

I hope this is helpful for you.
