Trouble with Confirm Delete Pop-Up: ThisItem not available

@mdevaney I hope you are well. I tried posing this question on a previous post I had marked as a solution, but didn't hear back so I thought I would try posting a new question in case it isn't possible to ask follow-up questions on a "closed" post. I'm still learning my way around the forums. Apologies if you are receiving his a second time.

I have a follow-up question to the previous item you helped me with which was "how do I update a SharePoint List after deleting an item from a Collection". The formula you provided worked great when applied to the OnSelect property of the trash can icon in the Gallery, but it later occurred to me that I should include a pop-up dialog box asking the user to confirm that they wish to delete the item before actually deleting it. If they click the "Yes, delete" button I want the item to be removed from the SharePoint list (Pipeline) and Collection (colPipeline).

For some reason, the formula that worked for the trash can icon in the Gallery is not working on the "Yes, delete" button in the pop-up dialog box. I have a suspicion that I am doing something wrong with the variable, but I've been trying to get it going since Mon, July 13 with no success so I thought I should ask if you could help me out. Intellisense doesn't give me the option of selecting "ThisItem". Since there are multiple formulas with the introduction of a pop-up dialog, I thought it would be easiest to attach screenshots in the pdf below (all data shown is fictitious).

I have everything working except for the delete feature so I have highlighted anything that pertains to it in yellow. Would you mind taking a look and letting me know what I am missing? No need to reply over the weekend of course unless that is easier for you. The original formula you provided to me is included in the attachment. I have watched multiple videos on pop-up dialog boxes. While I was able to glean valuable formatting tips from each, none of them matched my particular deletion scenario unfortunately. Thank you in advance! Teresa

What about something like

Remove(ColPipeline,LookUp(ColPipeline,ID=Gallery1.Selected.ID))

?

if that doesn't work you could set a variable like Set(var_deleterecord, Gallery1.selected.ID)

and then when clicking yes on the pop-up do something like Remove(datasource,Filter( datasource, ID=var_deleterecord ) )

Thank you for offering this suggestion, on a Saturday no less! The item is successfully deleted from the SharePoint List, but not the Gallery which is based on a Collection of the SharePoint List. I've tried adding Remove(colPipeline,ThisItem) to the formula, but "ThisItem" doesn't come up as an option in Intellisense, only "Thistle". If I try to force it, I get an error. Any ideas on what I might try next?

What about something like

Remove(ColPipeline,LookUp(ColPipeline,ID=Gallery1.Selected.ID))

?

That worked! Thanks so much! I will mark it as a solution. Enjoy the rest of your weekend 🙂

I think the BIGGER question here is what the hell is "Thistle"?  I get it too!  If it's just junk left in there by Microsoft, then shame on you Microsoft!  I know it sounds like I am ranting, but I am not,  I really would like to know what "Thistle" is and if it's nothing, what is it doing in my Slider control  under most attributes (in the intellisense)?

Thistle is a color #D8BFD8. It took me quite some time as well not to confuse the two
