I suddenly got a message saying that my trial period has expired, also that the environment has been deleted!
How is this possible? Is there any way to recover that data? I was anyways going to upgrade the plan, but then this happened.
I had 2 main projects and now there is nothing there.

I'm sorry that you find yourself in this situation.
The only thing I can suggest is that you raise a support issue.
For info, @adecsei also reported the same problem yesterday. Hopefully, Alex will let us know how he gets on.
I had worked really hard on this project, and it was about to be approved, to purchase the plan. Now it is all gone, without any message from PowerApps.
This is not acceptable.
I hope there is some solution for this.
