Unable to generate line items in PowerApps

Hello Community,

I have a table called Orders (parent table) which has OrderID as a unique column. I have another table, OrderLine (child table) which has OrderID and OrderLineItems columns. I would like to create an app that inserts record initially in the parent table and then grab the OrderID from the parent table and insert into child table.

Example:  Table 1

             Order ID        Date                  Name

                 1              5/15/2020           John

Table 2

OrderID   OrderLineItems     Price  Qty

  1                      1                   $5     1

  1                      2                    $3    2

   1                     3                   $6     2

Can this be achievable in powerapps? Any tips or suggestions would be helpful. Thank you

Hi @bakgou1

I have an example of that in my series on database principles in PowerApps. That one is an illustrated example of how to implement one to many relationships in PowerApps.  See

Hi @Drrickryp ,

I saw the tutorial. I was able to insert the row in my parent table but unable to insert all rows related to the order id from parent table. Powerapps errors out "Item has already created on the server".
