Re: Unable to import powerapp from app package

Hi @Deepti1,

I think, that the reason why you were failing was that first you have extracted all contents of the ZIP file into a folder named: "TestExportPackage_20190329113751", then you made your changes and again created a ZIP file, but by zipping the folder "TestExportPackage_20190329113751" not its contents. In result you had a ZIP file, having a structure:

  1. TestExportPackage_20190329113751.zip
    1. TestExportPackage_20190329113751
      1. manifest
        Microsoft.PowerApps
        1. apps
          1. all other files

whereas you should have:

  1. TestExportPackage_20190329113751.zip
    1. manifest
      Microsoft.PowerApps
      1. apps
        1. all other files

I have tried to change the GUIDs and names as I described in the blog post and I managed to import it succesfully:

I made two attempts, in second all went fine (although I had to change name a litte :))

Re: Unable to import powerapp from app package

@Deepti1

There can be another way, like if you just click on - file-open-browse your app, then it can open.

you may try it.
