Unable to save sharepoint list data from cascaded dropdowns,

I'm trying to fill up a sharepoint list from a few choices from other sharepoint lists

I have three sharepoint lists, two source, three dropdown for choices and one sharepoint list

to fill up with data.

The form is populated with three dropdowns:
1: Address (populated from a sharepoint list)

2: Meter numbers (populated from a sharepoint list

3: Meter type(Water, Electricity,Gas) (populated from the same sharepoint list as 2)

4: Meter value (numeric field)

I want to write it to the output list to display and store the current value of the meters on reading, address, reading date.

All comboboxes filled up and working, but on save, i get an error message:

error saving changes,

datasource probably invalid.

The output list's mandatory fields are setted to one line text.

Can someone help me what can i do to make it work?

Hi @banrob2 ,

This form is connected to the list that you are trying to store the data or did you created the dropdowns outside from a form?

Hi _douglasromao!

I think i created them inside the form (Is there a way to make it sure?)

Hi @banrob2 ,

Do you mean that you can not submit the form successfully?

Could you tell me

1)the data type of  Address,Meter numbers,Meter type,Meter value?

2)the settings of these four datacards, especially the drop downs' Items and datacards' Update property?

3)the formula about submitting form?

Please note that if you customize the datacard, you need to set its datacard's Update property based on its data type.

Or else, it will not update successfully.

Dear Phoebe!

I can test the form in the editor, the dropdowns are working,

and when i try to create a new line in the output list,i get a datasource may be invalid error.

1)the data type of  Address,Meter numbers,Meter type,Meter value?
Address: single line text

Meter number: single line text

Meter type: single line text

Meter value: number

2)the settings of these four datacards, especially the drop downs' Items and datacards' Update property?
please see in the attached pdfs

3)the formula about submitting form?
don't have any as far as i know, i used the customise option of the list's powerapp menu, no additional buttons for save, on the form!

Thank You in Advance,

Robert
