Unique label set-up

Hi all, 

For my browsegallery I have several labels, which will go visible when a toggle (of another screen) is switched to TRUE . Although, I am facing problems with the label, it seems to appear on every item in browsegallery that is made. See screenshot: 

Behind the label visibility I have the followed: 

Visible = DataCardValue38.Value

Is there a way to just switch the toggle and only make the label visible on the first row? Like this: 

There should be a simple solution, somehow I do not know how to find it.

As gallery component does not have an index property what you could do is bin you visibility porperty to :

DatacardValue38.Value & Index(YourGalleryItemsProperty,1).ID = ThisItem.ID

The Index(YourGalleryItemsProperty,1).ID will return the ID of your first item and with the = ThisItem.ID it will compare it to the ID of the current item, hence only the first item in your gallery will return true.

The MS list = my source of sharepoint/microsoft list. Is that what you meant?

Hello @Rinzo 

What I meant is that what ever you have put in the items property of your gallery you put in   Index(YourGalleryItemsProperty,1).ID 

What you can do to trouble shoot is you can display the ID of each items in your list by adding it to a label then look what are you getting in the Index(YourGalleryItemsProperty,1).ID . This should help you troubleshoot.

I have been trying in multiple ways to set up this formula, somehow it does not work. Sorry for this, but the only item in my browsegallery are labels in this case. Does that mean that YourGalleryItemsProperty are my labels? I have tried that as well, it did not work. And with the ID, in this case it would be the toggle's name?

No worries. What I meant is that as shown in the screenshot below

Your Gallery has a property called Items. So what ever you have put there (i.e. instead of _results in my example) you put it in Index(YourGalleryItemsProperty,1).ID

Appreciate the patience you have for me. It was clear to me that you mentioned the items of the browsegallery. My questions next was, in my case the labels are the relevants here: 

And if I go to the items of this gallery, I see this (standard):

This cannot be changed into: Index(YourGalleryItemsProperty,1).ID ? Or in my case Index(BrowseGallery1,1).ID ? Not sure if I have this right. 

The focus is on these labels only, shouldn't I just change the visibilities of these labels?

No problem at all.

Allright, so yes you need to apply the formula to the visibilty property of you label. So for example if it is label1_2 that contains the value that you want to show only for the first item you put its visibility property to:

DatacardValue38.Value & Index(SortByColumn(Filter(@...,StartWith(Title,TextSearchBox1.Text)),"Title",If(SortDescending1,Descending,Ascending)),1).ID = ThisItem.ID

Let me know if that works for you. Then we can see how we can put all the "SortByColumn(Filter(@...,StartWith(Title,TextSearchBox1.Text)),"Title",If(SortDescending1,Descending,Ascending))" in some kind of variable so it does not gets executed twice.

So, the first label (Label1) needs to fetch it from DataCardValue38, it looks like its almost working but I still receive this: 

What else can I do? 

If this works for the label, then the problem is pretty much solved as I can do this for all other labels.

No worries about that message it is just saying that ThisItem.ID cannot be currently evaluated as the Gallery components needs to loop on all the items, but if you run the app with the play button does it works ?
