Update SharePoint List and email Flow

I'm working on an App tied with Flow and I'm kind of stuck.

Here's the scenario

I've created a PowerApp out of a SharePoint list.  My app is pretty basic, it answers a few survey questions, but in the end when the questions are complete I want to use the IconAccept1 to do two things.

  1. Save the answers to the associated SharePoint list
  2. Start a flow where those answers are then auto emailed to the person who's filling in the survey (Created By) and also a Manager (A required field in the survey)

I'm not a Developer, call me an IT PowerUser and I don't know what the command would look like onSelect.  I have the beginning which is the flow, but not sure what I need to add to close the screen and revert to the iniital summary screen.

Re: Update SharePoint List and email Flow

If you have build an app based on your data, everything you want is almost already done for you.

To get user information and manager I suggest using Office365Users connector.

in your screen OnVisible proeprty put the following function:

UpdateContext({_UserProfile:Office365Users.MyProfile()});
UpdateContext({_UserManager:Office365Users.Manager(_UserProfile.Id)})

The IconAccept1.OnSelect should be like this:

SubmitForm(YourForm)

Select the form (YourForm) and change YourForm.OnSuccess:

Add your flow here from Actions -> Flow.

To add reciever address you can use:

_UserProfile.Mail

To add Manager email , you can use:

_UserManager.Mail

That should be it.

If you have built your app from scrach then it depends do you use EditForm control to udpate sharepoint list or few individual controls?

Re: Update SharePoint List and email Flow

What I ended up doing is creating the flow at the list level and it meets my needs without getting too complicated with the PA.
