Update Sharepoint List row from multiple galleries

PowerApps Community,

I'd like to recruit your help with a little technical know-how

I have a sharepoint list with multiple items, and I've created an interface to submit and update items on this sharepoint list.

However I can't get the update button to work

I need to update the code in the highlighted checkbox, so that when it is clicked, It will take the information from the 3 forms in the page (EditDetailsForm, EditContactsForm, EditNotesForm(See attachment)) for the fields relating to the part number details that need to be updated.

Sharepoint list is titled "RFQ"

This is the only code I have, which doesn't seem to work

Update(RFQ,EditDetailsForm.Updates,EditDetailsForm.LastSubmit,All)

Thank you in Advance

Re: Update Sharepoint List row from multiple galleries

You need to use the Patch function. Shane has some wonderful videos in his channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gX5q_V3U8-s&list=PLCGGtLsUjhm2bonhBZuEhZU72QkFjOpc6&index=21

Here is the syntax:
Patch(RFQ, PartNumber= PowerAppsPartnumberField,'SharePointColumn1': PowerAppsField1, 'SharePointColumn2': PowerAppsField2, 'SharePointColumn3': PowerAppsField3 , etc.)

Re: Update Sharepoint List row from multiple galleries

Hi @Hsoto7 ,

May I know why you have separated 1 list to 3 form controls? If you only have one SharePoint list as the data source, then you could include all the fields within 1 Form control and then update the items with SubmitForm directly.

@v-monli-msft

Honestly, it was just out of lack of understanding on how it all works.

3 different forms was the easiest way to organize all the fields I needed in a way for them to look neat and organized, at the time I didn't know it would  bring me issues down the line.

Hugo
