Update gallery

Hi frds,

I have created an app from the sharepoint list.. I want to update the gallery based on the status filed values (open, pending. Closed)

On the first screen I have three buttons... Open pending and closed. Based on the inselect the galaxy should update..more over the list should display the result of the login user only...

Please help me get out of this situation...

Hi @Naresh,

Do you wan to update the records within the Gallery control based on the Status value (generate via the there Buttons)?

Further, do you only want to display the records created via the current login in user within the Gallery control of your app?

I have made a test on my side, please take a try with the following workaround:8.JPG

Set the OnVisible of the first screen to following formula:

UpdateContext({StatusValue:""})

Set the Items property of the Gallery control to following formula:

Filter(
'20180718_case11',
If(!IsBlank(StatusValue),Status.Value=StatusValue,true),
Author.Email=User().Email
)

Set the OnSelect property of the "Open" button to following formula:

UpdateContext({StatusValue:"Open"})

Set the OnSelect property of the "Pending" button to following formula:

UpdateContext({StatusValue:"Pending"})

Set the OnSelect property of the "Closed" button to following formula:

UpdateContext({StatusValue:"Closed"})

Note: The Status column is a Choice type column in my SP list, the available values of the Status column is Open, Pending and Closed.

hi @v-xida-msft

I have to update the gallery based on the two approval status

I have two levels of approvals

I have given the onselect propery for pending button as

UpdateContext({StatusValue1:"Rejected",StatusValue2:"Pending"})

 it works

but there can be probability of getting the below conditions to the value when approval status was pending

I have set the on select property of the button to

PendingButton.OnSelect   but it didn't work..is anyother way ican achieve this ?

UpdateContext({StatusValue1:"Rejected",StatusValue2:"Pending"}) ||
UpdateContext({StatusValue1:"Approved",StatusValue2:"pending"}) || UpdateContext({StatusValue1:"Approved",StatusValue2:"Rejected"})
