Update table from Google Drive

I have my app created pulling data from a Google Excel in Google Drive. I can't seem to have the app update the structure changes (not data in the fields). Whenever I add a new column in excel, it does not show up in my app but if I delete a column in excel,  the app refreshes perfectly fine with that column gone. I read up that I might have to do something called a Patch function? The guides and small tidbits are confusing for me to digest though. Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Update table from Google Drive

Hi @superdl,

Currently PowerApps can't deal with the columns which are added after table loaded in the App.

You will need to remove the current table, and add it again, in order to have the newly added column show up.

Under View->Data Sources->Data

Could a common data service update automatically or it is the same as an Excel table ?
