Updated a Form control based on a Search control

Hello,
I am trying to update of a "NEW" form control with the results of my search box on the left that is not part of the form.
I am not able to find the correct way to reference the dropdown so that the chosen value shows up in the form drop down.

Search part of the Screen

Role Name should have the value of what I chose from the Role Name Search.

Probably something simple but hey I am not perfect 🙂

Thanks

HI @golfnutt82 ,

For the DefaultSelectedItems property, please enter the below in case your search control is a ComboBox:

[YourSearchBox].SelectedItems

If your search control is a DropDown, use:

LookUp([YourDataSource],'LU_Role Name' = [YourSearchBox].SelectedText.Value)

I haven't had a chance to try this.
I will update the thread when I do.
