Updated data not shown in second screen form

Hello, I created a powerapp with data from a MS Lists table. I created two screens with forms refering to the same data source.

When I change a data field in form of screen_1 and submit the form, the data is correctly updated in the datasource table. But when I navigate dot screen_2 in which a form also refers to the same data table, it is not showing the updated data, but the old data before submitting the form from screen_1. I already tried adding Refresh(Datasourcename) in OnVisible of screen_2 but that doesn't seem to load the updated data from the datasource.

Any ideas what I can do to get updated data every time I navigate from

I have a feeling this is because of your Item Property in Screen_2. 

@PaSk please can you share what you have as your gallery item in Screen_2.

I have a gallery, that lists data in columns of my datasource table. When I click on an item I store this in a variable called SelectedItem and then navigate to screen_1. This screen_1 has a form (form1) that reads the data of the datasorce table with Item: SelectedItem. I added a button with OnSelect: Submitform(form1). I have a menue (component) with Links to navigate zu screen_2. On screen_2 I have another form (form2) wicht also reads the data of the datasoruce table with Item: SelectedItem. The problem her is now, that when I navigate to screen_2 the form doesnt show the actual data from datasource (which I had updated before on form1 of screen_1). So navigating to screen_2 after sending form in screen_1 doesn't "update" the data from datasource, maybe because it is using a "cache" which was build when I selected the item in the galery at the beginning?

Refresh(Datasource);
Set(varSelectedItems,Gallery.Selected);
Navigate(Screen2);

Inscreen 2 Form, use varSelected Item as your Source.

I have Gallery with data from datasourcetable. When I click on item of gallery, I set variable "SelectedItem", goto screen_1. screen_1 has form with data form datasourctable (item: SelectedItem). On this screen a button with OnSelect: SubmitForm(form1) to Update Data I changed in form1 of screen_1. I added Refresh(datasource) on OnSuccess here. Then I navigate to screen_2 (again with Refresh OnVisible), which also has a form2 with data (Item: SelectedItem). When I go here, the just updated data from form1 in screen1 is not shown i form2. It seems it doesnt update the data from source. Maybe it reads data from a cache, that is created when I select the item in the galery at the beginning? That would explain why screen2 shows correct data after I return to gallery an then select the item again an go to screen_2. But I have a app where you should switch between screen1 an screnn2 an be able to update data in both screens and then in both screens alwas actual data is show (but isn't..)

The data which is flowing to screen 2 after submission is not a updated record. Hence after submission once you refresh the data, you need to query the updated record and pass it to Form 2 ( Which is in screen 2).

Set(varSelectedItems,Gallery.Selected); --> This will query the refresh data into a record
Navigate(Screen2);

For Form2  Item use the updated record (varSelectedItems).

It didn't work when I re-set the variable in the Subit-Button. But I tried to redefine the Variable Set(varSelectedItems;Gallery.Selected) on each Screen at OnVisible. That did it! I am not shure if I really understand the solution, but it works for me...

The solution was different: I had to "update" the Variable on Sending the form: Set(SelectedProject;EditForm1.LastSubmit) at the OnSuccess of the EditForm.

This causes the screens to get the updated data via the variable SelectedProject I use to define the Item.

Hope, this works for other having issues with that.
