Updating Excel Data Source

I am creating a new Form and using 'Allowed Values' drop down box which I have fed the values from a table in excel.  When I submit the form all the text, combobox etc update the original Data Source Table however, the Allowed Values dont...  

I have tried both of the following in Update:

DataCardValue52.Selected.Text

and

ThisItem.'Impact - User Experience Score'

Neither of them work.  Any ideas?

Are you saying that the "Allowed Values" field does not write to the Data source? We may need a little more info - is the source being written to a different Excel table, SP list? What type of field is not being written to? If it is a dropdown it should probably be more like DropDown.Selected.Item, but it may depend on your data
