Updating related tables in a business rule

Hi all!

I am building a model-driven app that's basically an approval process with a few complications. In my case a "DISPENSATION" record could be approved, and consequently all it's many "ACTIONS" that have a relation to DISPENSATION should automatically change their state to approved as well.

In a Canvas app this was solved with a ForAll with patch of related ACTIONS. However, I can't seem to figure out how to update related tables in a business rule. Is there any way to change related (or not related for that matter) tables in a model-driven approach? Either through business rules or the old "workflow" editor that I'm not too familiar with?

I guess this could easily be solved with a power automate flow, but my suspicion is that this is not as robust as business rules.

Thanks in advance!
