Use SharePoint List Choice Column in Powerapps Gallery

I have a very simple SharePoint List that contains a Choice column and I am trying to display the value selected in that colunm in a PowerApps Gallery.  Here is how I have configured the 'Text' property of my Gallery Body:

ThisItem.Shift.Value

The Body apparently needs a text value.  How do I convert the value recieved from the Choice column to a text value?

Re: Use SharePoint List Choice Column in Powerapps Gallery

Your formula should work unless the choice column allows for multiple selections then you need to concat the selected values into a string before displaying them in a text label.

Example: Concat(ThisItem.Shift, Value, "; ")

Re: Use SharePoint List Choice Column in Powerapps Gallery

Jeff,

Thanks for pointing that out.  I apparently didn't realize that the default behaviour of a Choice column is multiple selections.  I actually had to click on "More options" to find that setting and turn it off.  Strange that this setting is not more visable and perhaps it should be disabled by default?  Anyway, thanks for your help!
