Use combobox in edit form

I have an edit form and need to get combobox selection as one of the datacard default values. These are the items in my combobox ["CS", "In-Vitro", "In-Vivo"]. There is no datasource for the combobox and the edit form has a datasource that is empty too. How can I get the combobox value to display in a certain dadta card on the edit form? I've tried combobox.selected and selected.items and it doesn't work.

For that you would need the combobox.selected.Value.  That should give you the selected item in the combobox.

I hope this is helpful for you.

It is not showing up in the datasource. In the form it shows what I choose in the datacardvalue, but when I submit the field is blank in the sharepoint list @RandyHayes

@powerapps890

So then you need to look at your Update property on the datacard...what is that set to?
