Use item from sharepoint column

Hi all,

 

How do I retrieve item from column to display it on my form input textbox?

Have you solved your problem?

Based on the issue that you mentioned, do you want to display the item from a column in a form Text input?

Could you please share a bit more about the scenario?

Actually, if you want to populate the Text input based on another column value, there should be some specific condition to find the value.

Not sure the column type of the column from where you want to display value.

If it is a Text column, you could set the Default property of the Text input as below:

LookUp(SPList,<your condition here>).ColumnName

If it is a Choice column, you could set the Default property of the Text input as below:

LookUp(SPList,<your condition here>).ColumnName.Value

Just check if it could help.

You can consider in the Default of the Textbox:

LookUp(Datasource,ID=2,FirstName)
 
This will return the firstName column for row 2 (ID 2)
