Sharing of PowerApps one of the key sections for NewBie (like me; NOT for Expert and welcome comments and improvement):

Understanding data sources in PowerApps

~ Data sources, Display one or more records, Modify a record, Screens working together, Collections

(I did not include: error handling & Validation)

Link to sample apps (which can run by connecting by save my sample apps and excel, to your own cloud).

My experience:

1. Combined into 2 screen to make it simpler; Edit screen can be side-by-side with Detailed Screen for editing. In that case, use UpdateContext({...}) - where UpdateContext is used for holding temporary Context Variable "in the same screen".

2. Using CardStack and DataCard with Update is useful to especially when adding items within so that Patch(...) does not have to be modified. However, when you wish to have Static Data, then, it is good to mix with normal InputText box, and then when writing PATCH(..), just include within.
