User problems about create / update sharepoint list item

If I shared the app permission 'user' to other members,

 

Can they create / update sharepoint list item?

 

If can't, can I use microsoft flow to solve?

Hi @Faithz ,

I think maybe you want to kown more about sharing app.

If you want to other users to use your app, you need to:

1)share your app to them

2)share your data source to them (for example, if you use sharepoint list as your data source, you need to give other users permission of this list)

Then, other users could run your app and if your app have functions about updating records of list, other users could also have access to this function.

However, if your want other others not only have access to run the app, but also edit and own the app, you need to choose this when sharing app:9202.PNG

What's more, if your data source is CDS, you need to give other users permission of CDS.

Some connections like SQL, other users also need to recreate connection by themselves.

Hi @Faithz 

 

User access allows the user to play the app, they cannot edit the canvas app but if they have appropriate permissions on the SP list, they will be able to create/update records in the SP list based on the functionality in the application.
