User store filter selections as a 'favourite'

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows whether Powerapps has the ability to 'store/save' a user's filter dropdown selections in a gallery view.

For reference, above my gallery I have a series of five drop downs that filter my connected sharepoint list - 'Publication', 'Week', 'Year' etc. I'm wonderig if it's possible for a user to select a choice from each drop down (eg: Snow Mag, Week 20, 2019' and then use a control (maybe a check box or something) to store those selections.

Effectively, I'm asking whether a user can 'favourite' filter selections for quick access later on.

The query came up in my meeting when I was demoing the app I've made.

Hi @cfebvre ,

Do you want to save the filtered items and display them?

I’ve made a similar test, you could refer this:

Create a Gallery, 3 Drop Down controls, 1 Button.

Set the Drop Down controls’ Items: 'Publication', 'Week', 'Year' etc

Set Gallery1’s data source: table name

Set Gallery1’s Items:

 Filter(table name, Publication =Dropdown1.Selected. Publication,
Week =Dropdown2.Selected. Week,
Year =Dropdown3.Selected. Year)

Set the Button’s OnSelect:

ClearCollect(test1,Gallery1.AllItems);SaveData(test1," Name of the storage")

After these settings, choose sections in drop down controls, click the button, the filtered items will be saved.430.jpg

Set App.OnStart:

LoadData(test1," Name of the storage")

Then the filtered items will can be used.
