Using Drop Down list in gallery for editing

Hello Guys,

Am trying to make a gallery that contains a drop list to update my data  ( i want to change the status of the tasks to "Not Started" or "In Progress" or "Done") 

 

i need to have a drop list that shows me the status of tasks, then it enables me to edit it.

@Anonymous You could try to insert a dropdown to the gallery template and set its items property to:

["Not Started", "In Progress", "Done"] 

 Then set the its Default to:

ThisItem.Status

And then patch the data source with the OnChange property
