Hello all,
In one of my Power Apps, I try to launch files stored on our Azure File Storage. Unfortunetaly, I have no luck in doing it. When tapping a button with a formula like this: Launch("\\ourstoragename.file.core.windows.net\folder\file.pdf"), simply nothing happens when using the W10 app. When using the browser, I'm getting page from the screenshot below. I'm sure file storage is correctly configured on our PC's, when pasting the URL's manually in the file explorer, the files just open. While when I try to launch a file on our on-prem server, like this: Launch("\\ourserver\folder\file.pdf") it works perfectly.
Any suggestions?
Following.
Meanwhile, I found out that the only real solution there is for using PowerApps with Windows: Ditch Windows or ditch PowerApps. It doesn't work together and they will probably never fix that.
I haven't been having any issues incorporating most connectors with Power Apps. I initially was utilizing a Blob Storage connector to access files via a gallery and open them. However, although the functionality for Azure File Storage seems the same, I can't seem to mimic the same interface.
Neither do I, but this problem isn't related to het file storage connector. The Launch function is supposed to open a hyperlink. You can use a variable for for example a website, a file or a file directory. But it isn't working correctly when I want to navigate to a file on our file storage.
